Artist Statement

As a person I like action, I like to move, I like things to change. As an artist this preference is exhibited through the creation of contrast.

This can be accomplished in several ways; through the use of black and white, such as with pen and ink, or through color used in unexpected ways. A favorite way is through the juxtaposition of organic with geometric shapes.

The feeling of excitement can be created through any media, using any subject or style, so I like to explore many of these.
