About The Artist Jim spent his early years in his father's blacksmith shop, studied design at John Herron, and spent 25 years in the marketing and graphic arts industry in Indianapolis. He worked with an architectural design team in New York. His current activities as a designer/metal smith include architectural design and decorative iron projects in his shop-studio at the Stutz.
