Artist Statement After teaching biology in Indiana for 33 years, I am finally realizing my dream. I find contentment in watercolors. I have a love affair with portraiture and the figure. I study the play of light on the faces of poised, confident people. In non portrait works, I strive to let the observer complete images with lost edges. studio: A270 |
