Redefining Chaos: The Alchemy of Space
"Redefining Chaos: The Alchemy of Space" opens March 6 at STUTZARTSPACE with artwork by Carol Myers, Kate Oberreich and Ginny Taylor Rosner.
In this show, the three female artists artistically explore space in the context of the chaos they experience from sharing creative space in Studio B240. Myers' prints and watercolors focus on spiritual and internal space, as expressed through nature and natural forms. Oberreich's mixed media works and collages explore relationships and conversation using surface and text, and Taylor Rosner photographically turns her vision to abandoned urban spaces and the silent stories inherent in the emptiness.
The exhibition opens at noon March 6 with a reception from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., in conjunction with the Indianapolis Downtown Artists & Dealers Association's (IDADA) monthly First Friday gallery tour. The show runs through March 27.
The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays or by appointment.
