The Stutz Artists Association Open House is April 25 and 26, 2008.

Why Volunteer?


Volunteer Activities


Artist Studios/Information
This area is responsible for assisting both artists and patrons with building and studio information and questions. You may also be asked to "studio-sit" when an artist needs a short break. You will not be asked to sell for the artist. Must be able to sit and/or stand for a period of time.
Friday 5:30-8:30pm (filled)
Friday 8-11pm
Saturday 12-3pm
Saturday 2-5pm

Set-up/Teardown
Set-Up volunteers will assist the Stutz staff and artists with setting up tables, signage, supplies, etc. prior to the opening of the event. Teardown volunteers will help to remove these items and assist in general clean up at the end of the event.

Elevators
As an elevator volunteer, you will be asked to lift the gates, allowing patrons on and off. You must be able to lift overhead and stand for a period of time. You will NOT be operating the elevators.

Ice
One or two volunteers are needed to assist artists as they pick up ice for their studios. These volunteers will help to track the ice supply and check to be sure that artists are receiving the correct amount.

Entertainment
Volunteers will assist entertainment acts with loading of equipment in/out. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Volunteer Check-in/Runners
These volunteers will assist the Volunteer Coordinator with checking in other volunteers, seeing that they receive their T-shirt, and to serve as an information source to volunteers. You may also be asked to serve in another area should a volunteer be absent or need a break.
