What is StutzArtSpace?
STUTZARTSPACE is a nonprofit visual art center on the first floor of the Stutz Business Center.
Sponsored by the Stutz Artists Association, the flex-space of 1,600 square feet has multiple uses.
- Art classes and workshops of all mediums taught by Stutz artists as well as regional and national artists
- A modular gallery space within the center to allow for individual exhibits that showcase members' art (100% of sales go to the artist) as well as the art of workshop instructors
- Art activities that better connect artists, audiences and resources
StutzArtSpace Mission
- To provide an opportunity for increased participation and engagement by Indianapolis residents in the Arts.
- To create a nurturing studio environment in which any one of the 70+ Stutz artists can teach a myriad of art mediums and activities to Indianapolis residents.
- To strengthen the city as a unique cultural destination by incorporating regional and national artists in the Indianapolis cultural scene and attract, statewide and nationwide, artists and visitors to Indianapolis to stay and attend the 4-5 day workshops.
- Provide solid, sustainable infrastructure to support cultural tourism.
How can I be a part of StutzArtSpace?
The SAA is seeking contributions and sponsorships. These donations and sponsorships will be applied to operating expenses, partial salary for a staff person and equipment needed for the classroom and gallery. Contact the Stutz Artists Association if you wish to contribute as an individual donor or a corporate sponsor.

More StutzArtSpace InformationThe STUTZARTSPACE target audience is adults and children who wish to pursue their interest in art in a non-degreed offering of classes and workshops. The proximity of STUTZARTSPACE to downtown Indianapolis is a plus for attendees in terms of hotel accommodations, restaurants, and other cultural destinations as well as a plus to Indianapolis in terms of positive exposure to in-and-out-of-the-city attendees. The Stutz location also provides an easily accessible opportunity for the increasing numbers of downtown residents to participate in art activities. |
