IDADA's "First In Line" Gallery Exhibition and Art Sale
Join us on Thursday, December 4, from 6:00-9:00 pm, for the eighth annual "First in Line" IDADA art exhibition and sale.
Enjoy an opening reception from 6:00-6:55 pm and the public will join in for the sale lasting from 7:00-9:00 pm (IDADA members only may arrive as early as 5:00 pm).
Artists from throughout the city will offer original works in various sizes that are perfect for gift giving at $100 each. Buyers not only walk away with a truly original gift, but they also become a part of the exhibit. When a work is purchased, a photo is taken of the buyer with the work. This photo is then displayed in the place of the artwork, allowing the show to steadily morph into a documentary snapshot show.
Proceeds from the First in Line show will go to the artist and IDADA, the Indianapolis Downtown Artists and Dealers Association. A nonprofit organization, IDADA will use the funds for its operation fund so it can directly serve the local Indianapolis visual arts community.
Remaining works will be available for sale the following evening, during the Stutz Artists Association "1st Jingle Stop" Holiday Exhibition and Sale, from 5:00 – 10:00 PM.
