The Stutz Arts Association has partnered with Sun King Brewing, ZIPP SPEED WEAPONRY, and PRIZM Art Supply for the inaugural reCYCLE pARTS, community bicycle art project benefitting local charities, Freewheelin' Community Bikes and INDYCOG and International charity, World Bike Relief.

On Friday, March 1st, 2013, from 5:00 - 9:00 pm, the inaugural reCYCLE pARTS opening will take place at the Raymond James Stutz Art Gallery. The show features the work of 21 local artists.

reCYCLE pARTS is the first event of its kind in Indiana. The opening reception coincides with the First Friday art events held around the city.

Artists were given creative license to construct art pieces out of recycled bike parts donated by our sponsor ZIPP and non-profit organization Freewheelin' Community Bikes. Artists had 2 months to create and submit their pieces to a jury of sponsors and event partners for selection.

The selected pieces will be on display (offered for sale) at the Stutz Art Gallery from March 1 - 29, 2013. The gallery is open from 1:00 - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday or by appointment.

"Our mission at Sun King is 'Improving the lives of Hoosiers one pint at a time' and this event exemplifies that goal. Helping put this one of a kind event together has allowed us to engage so many organizations and people in central Indiana and we're excited to share it with everyone!" - Clay Robinson, Owner/Brewer Heather Hall.
