spirited conversations

“Spirited Conversations” opens at the STUTZARTSPACE Gallery on Friday, November 7, 2008. The exhibit is part of the 13th annual Spirit & Place Festival. "Spirited Conversations" features the work of nine visual artists from the Stutz exploring the theme of artistic and spiritual dialogue.

Participating artists are Susan Brewer, Janet Chilton, Jane Knight, Karen Land, Susan Mauck, Carol L. Myers, Kate Oberreich, Stephanie Lewis Robertson and Ginny Taylor-Rosner.

"It has been very satisfying to link up with other artists who consider spirit an important part of their creative process," said organizer Carol L. Myers. "The title of the show, 'Spirited Conversations,' can be interpreted in so many ways. It will be a delight to see how the nine artists invoke their muse and then continue the conversation with each other and the public, each in her own medium. The Stutz artist community is rich with conversation and art, and this will provide another layer of community and group conversation."
