Here’s What’s New!
There’s something special about First Fridays at the Stutz, and March was no exception. As always, this free, all-ages event welcomed the community inside one of Indianapolis’ most vibrant creative hubs for an evening of art, connection, and discovery.
A Sold-Out Night Celebrating the Arts in Indianapolis
The Stutz Building was buzzing with energy during Easel by Penrod, a premier spring arts event celebrating creativity, community, and philanthropy in downtown Indianapolis. Presented by Penrod in collaboration with the Stutz Artists Association, the evening welcomed more than 1,100 guests for a sold-out event that brought together artists, collectors, and art lovers from across Central Indiana.
Stutz Artists proved that cold weather is no match for a warm and vibrant arts community! Guests bundled up and came out in full force, filling the Stutz Artists studios on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of The Stutz building with conversation, curiosity, and creative energy. From the moment visitors stepped inside, they were greeted by music echoing through the hallways and original artwork lining the walls—transforming every corridor into a gallery experience.
Art has a way of transforming a space, and right now, visitors to Le Méridien Indianapolis are experiencing exactly that. Open Fields, an exhibition presented by theERA, brings a mix of contemporary artwork into the refined setting of the downtown hotel. The exhibition opened with a reception on February 12 and will remain on view through May 31, 2026. Throughout the hotel’s lobby, lounge, bar, and restaurant spaces, artwork is installed to invite guests to pause, look closer, and experience art.
